Connection Design
SEI has extensive experience in designing steel member connections for steel fabricators. We utilize several computer programs and an extensive base of SEI written programs, to enhance our design efficiency.

SEI has a strong background in steel fabrication and erection procedures. Our designs are detailed by SEI to AISC parameters.

Our connection designs include mid-rise buildings (10+ stories) and clear span trusses (200 ft.) SEI understands the critical timing and precision required to keep the steel fabricator and detailers on schedule.

Bard College Performing Arts Building, Annandale-On-Hudson, New York
SEI is presently provided steel member connection design services for the Bard College Performing Arts Building designed by Architect Frank O. Gehry. SEI has worked closely with the architect, engineer of record (Desimone,NYC) and the steel fabricator, CWI, of Portland, Oregon to develop the complex array of connections for this project.
